A symbol or emblem that acts as a trademark or a means of identification of an institution or other entity, usually referred to as a logo.
A single type combining two or more letters; a ligature.
(marketing) A logotype; a standardized graphic representation of the name of a company or product used for purposes of easy identification. It is is often text with unique typographic treatments. Usually the company name is incorporated together with simple graphic treatments, so that the representation of the word essentially becomes a symbol of the company.
(computing) A bit in each memory location on some variable-word-length computers (e.g. ) used to mark the end of a word.
