Hedonism vs Consumerism - What's the difference?

(ethics) The belief that pleasure or happiness is the highest good in life. Some hedonists, such as the Epicureans, have insisted that pleasure of the entire mind, not just pleasure of the senses, is the highest good.
A general devotion to the pursuit of pleasure.
A policy of protecting and informing consumers through honesty in advertising and packaging, improved safety standards etc
A materialistic attachment to possessions.
An economic theory that increased consumption is beneficial to a nation's economy in the long run.
