As nouns the difference between jib and jibbing
is that
jib is (nautical) a triangular staysail set forward of the foremast in a sloop (see image) the basic
jib reaches back roughly to the level of the mast while
jibbing is the performance of tricks using jibs (objects in a skatepark, etc).
As a verb jib
is of a horse, to stop and refuse to go forward.
